*Color Mixing and Design
*Inking
*Painting
*Color Pencil
*Mixed Media
*Anatomy

*Designing Illustrations for a story.

Every Student will be evaluated at the beginning to determine his/her current art skills. We will build on this platform.

It is crucial that all students learn Basic Human Anatomy. Early grades will focus on the anatomy of the head, neck and shoulders. We begin with the proper construction of a face, and move on to expressions, hair design, and perspective (the head seen from various angles). Advanced students learn full skeletal anatomy and the characteristics of clothing.

All grades will have the opportunity to create beautiful landscapes, impressionistic art, and portraits based on live subjects, photographs and pure imagination.

We'll get into a bit of Art History in every session. We'll see examples of how the masters handled the same type of projects we'll be working on.

Every student will create a portfolio of work

Classroom Environment: We'll be working in a spacious, well lit, comfortable room.

Parents can either drop-off or relax, wait and have a cup of coffee/tea in the adjoining room.

Creative minds work better with music playing, so there will be different styles of non-distracting music playing during each session.
